UC Davis Internship and Career Center Brand Guidelines

The UC Davis Internship and Career Center (ICC) empowers Aggies with the skills, knowledge, and connections to succeed in their careers. Serving students, faculty, alumni, and employers, the ICC needed its own brand guidelines—aligned with UC Davis Student Affairs Marketing—to ensure consistent, cohesive communication across all audiences.

I began by researching the ICC’s needs, audiences, and mission, collaborating closely with UC Davis SAMC to ensure alignment with the overall UC Davis brand. The resulting guidelines include visual standards (colors, typography, logos, and accessibility), marketing practices (social media and email), and Canva usage instructions.

The Internship and Career Center brand guidelines were launched in October 2020, streamlining the design approval process and improving workflow. This efficiency has freed up the team’s capacity to focus on more creative and innovative projects.
